These Terms of Service govern your use of Tick Talk, including the Tick Talk mobile app, website, and related services. By using Tick Talk, you agree to these terms.
Use Of The Service
You may use Tick Talk for personal, lawful purposes. You agree not to misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, submit harmful code, or use the service to harass, mislead, or harm others.
Accounts
Some features may require an account. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in information secure and for activity associated with your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.
User Reports And Content
You are responsible for reports, photos, comments, and other content you submit. You represent that you have the rights needed to submit that content. By submitting content, you grant Tick Talk a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, modify, and use it to operate, improve, and promote the service.
Do not submit content that is illegal, invasive of privacy, misleading, defamatory, graphic beyond what is needed for identification, or otherwise harmful. We may remove content or restrict access at our discretion.
No Medical Advice
Tick Talk provides community reports, risk context, and educational information. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified clinician for medical concerns. In an emergency, call emergency services.
Risk Information And Public Data
Tick activity, disease risk, weather, public agency data, and community reports can be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate, or unavailable. Tick Talk is intended as an informational tool and should not be your only source for health, travel, outdoor safety, or medical decisions.
Third-Party Services
Tick Talk may rely on third-party services for hosting, maps, weather, authentication, analytics, storage, public data, and other functions. Your use of those features may also be subject to third-party terms and policies.
Intellectual Property
Tick Talk, including its name, logo, design, software, and content we provide, is owned by Tick Talk or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the service unless we give written permission or applicable law allows it.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to Tick Talk if we believe you violated these terms, created risk for other users, or used the service in a way that could harm Tick Talk or others. You may stop using the service at any time.

Tick Talk is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, accurate, secure, or error-free.
Limitation Of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tick Talk will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, personal injury, or property damage arising from your use of the service.
Changes To These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice. Your continued use of Tick Talk after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
